o Can be “green: choice: With recycled or reclaimed products, no trees have to be chopped down. Timber from old barns, warehouses and pickle vats can be pressed into planks for an eclectic and cool look. Good for the planet and good for your house.

- Negatives of wood:

o More expensive: Real timber is most costly than artificial planks and parquet. It’s costlier but could be considered an investment in the house.

o More difficult to install: A professional installer should be hired to do this job unless the homeowner is a skilled carpenter. These gorgeous floors take expertise and skill for a competent installation.

Both laminate and wood floor installation can look great in a home. Weighing the pros and cons will lead a homeowner to the proper selection for his or her home.
